We accept abstract submissions from any field of research related to forest-related issues through interdisciplinary approaches. The topics can include but are not limited to issues surrounding Land Use and Forestry, Territorialization, Environmental Justice, Gender and Intersectionality, Ecosystem Services and Well-Being, Decoloniality, and Indigeneity.
Process
- Applicants should submit their abstract through the presenter registration here.
- After submitting the abstract, the conference board will review it, and applicants will receive an email with their submission status whether their abstract is accepted or not.
- Applicants whose abstracts are accepted will be required to submit their full manuscript. In this process, the applicants will have two options regarding their full manuscript submission: they can submit it to our affiliated journals or publish it as a proceeding in IOP.
Format
- The abstract should contain 250 – 400 words.
- The abstract should be clear, concise, and descriptive, without jargon. It should describe the significance of the research, methods, a summary of findings, and conclusions.
- The keywords should contain 5-8 words separated by commas.
Note: The FSIC will not edit the submitted abstracts. The authors are fully responsible for any spelling, grammatical, and typographical errors.
